    I first heard about this journal in a fitness magazine. So then I immediately went to amazon to find it. I wasn't willing to pay 20$ for it, but found a used/new copy for $5.

    The first 5 sections on 'my body', 'my exercise program', 'the basics', 'nutrition' and 'staying motivated' are essentially wasted paper filled with generic pep talks and general information. It was like the publisher was attempting to cross a broad spectrum fitness book with a diary.

    The 'my journal' section is 6 months of blank pages to write down information on your daily gym adventures. I expected more, given the description of the book that it had ample space for extra comments, especially a food diary. Yet, it has little pockets to hold loose sheets. Still, not useful.

    Overall, if you are looking for a combination health journal to track your food and fitness adventures, this just doesn't cut the cake.
